Requirements:-
MBCHB or equivalent, FCP (SA) OR equivalent Plus Registration certificate as a Specialist with the HPCSA Plus, Current registration with HPCSA (2023). Recommendation: Computer Literacy, Sub-speciality interest, Driver’s licence. Knowledge, Skills, Training and Competencies Required: Management of tertiary Internal Medicine patients, Excellent decision making, problem solving, leadership and mentorship skills, Sound knowledge of medical ethics, Good communication skills and computer literacy, Orientation towards service delivery and Batho Pele principals, Knowledge of current Health and Public Service legislation, regulation and policies, Ability to develop and maintain quality improvement programs and policy documents, Participation in clinical governance activities, Leadership in the departmental academic program and continued medical education activities, Active participation in specialist clinics, Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, Provide support for the HCU in Internal medicine in the management of the department, including human and financial resources
